To learn from the most experienced local and international musicians: both a challenge and a thrill to be experienced by those participating in the Music Education Program, coordinated by violinist Ana de Oliveira and Maestro Caio Cezar. The schedule of activities has been divided into workshops, master classes, orchestra practice and orchestral conducting courses and the MIMO for Children program, which aims at taking music to schools located in the poor neighborhoods of the city of Olinda.
During workshops and master classes, guest artists will teach classes and present participants with relevant aspects of the professional life experience of a professional musician. The Orchestral Conducting Course is taught by Maestro Isaac Karabtchevsky and gains from the presence of a symphony orchestra to be available to learners throughout the 6 days of the program; unique opportunity to learn from the most renowned national orchestral conducting professional. Furthermore, it will be a singular opportunity to perform alongside the Barra Mansa Symphony Orchestra in the final concert on September, 11th.
At the orchestra practice course led by experienced musicians with solid teaching background, classes happen during the whole week and at the end students will perform a concert as part of the official schedule of the festival.
