The guitarist release his first album back in 1972, after having worked with the principal names of the so called MPB (Brazilian popular songs repertoire) such as Elis Regina, Elizath Cardoso and Maysa. American rappers re-discovered Verocai after his album  “Caboclo” was sampled by hip hop artists  “Little Brother”. As aconsequence he appeared in Los Angeles in 2009 before an ecstactic audience made of pop stars and DJ´s, revisiting his debut album repertoire, which presents a mixture of bossa nova, jazz, funk and echoes of Ravel and Weather Report. This concerto, with a 30 piece orchestra, was filmed for the TV series “Timeless” and a DVD was release. On board of this reborn career, Verocai has been reaching a renewed audience both in Brazil and abroad. Vocal artists Carlos Dafé and Clarisse Grova, along with the 13 musicians of Projeto Coisa Fina and a 12 string orchestra under the baton of the artist will bring to MIMO Verocai´s  timeless sound.
