This 36-year-old French trumpeter and flugelhorn player is considered one of the most brilliant jazz musicians of his generation.  He has more than a hundred concerts performed and has developed his many international stages and venues. Tassel has been recently recognized as a legitimate heir of Miles Davis on the occasion of the release of his most recent work, the double album “Heads or tails”. Bearer of solid training, he studied piano up to the age of 18 when he switched to trumpet. His talent drew attention since he established in Paris for the first recording sessions and collaborations with other musicians in a dozen of jazz clubs of the city. Tassel is one of the main attractions of the busy French summer festivals, namely Jazz in Marciac, Jazz à Vienne and Jazz à Juan-les-Pins. At MIMO, he ill perform with an ensemble with Sylvain Beuf (sax), Laurent de Wilde (piano), Diego Imbert, (doublebass ) and Julien Charlet (drums).
